Satu slot dari Pusat Khidmat Maklumat Akademik telah diadakan semasa Minggu Aluan Pelajar baru UNIMAS (4 September 2015) bertempat di Arena Gemilang DeTAR Putra. Seramai 3800 pelajar baru UNIMAS telah mendaftar. Tayangan Video CAIS Virtual dan pengenalan kepada pencarian bahan CAIS OneSearch diterangkan kepada pelajar. Sesi soal jawab sangat memberansangkan. Tahniah diucapkan kepada pelajar-pelajar baru UNIMAS.

Demonstrasi menggunakan Automated External Defibrillator(AED) di CAIS

6 Februari 2018 Auditorium CAIS Staf CAIS merupakan batch pertama daripada staf di UNIMAS yang menyertai latihan dan demonstrasi penggunaan Automated External Defibrillator  (AED). Latihan ini telah dikendalikan oleh doktor-doktor dan staf dari Pusat Simulasi Klinikal UNIMAS. Latihan ini bermula pada jam 9 pagi dan tamat pada jam 12 tengah hari. Sesi dimulakan dengan taklimat mengenai apakah itu  Automated External Defibrillator.  Adakah kita tahu apakah itu  Automated External Defibrillator dan kegunaannya?  Apakah objektif latihan ini diadakan? Latihan ini diadakan untuk memberi kesedaran kepada seluruh staf  CAIS tentang kepentingan bantuan kecemasan asas sebelum bantuan kecemasan sebenar datang. Reading empowers, a reminder on World Book & Copyright Day!

The World Book & Copyright Day was commemorated on 24th April 2018 at CAIS Auditorium. CAIS, UNIMAS Publisher,  teachers  and students marked this important event.  Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students Affairs & Alumni) UNIMAS, YBhg Professor Mohd Fadzil bin Abdul Rahman, officially opened the event. He said that creating a reading culture is vital to the body of knowledge and every individual's life. Let's Read Together for 10 minutes, launching of New Books published by UNIMAS Publisher, Best Library User Award 2017, Book Talk Session and CAIS Book Donation were the main activities that filled the official ceremony. Over the two days there were Khat  & Calligraphy Art and Inai Art demo, ICT  Accessories  Sales, Buku Lambak, live busking, CAIS  Preloved - Flea MArket and a few food trucks.
